Scranton, PA Community Services for Children is Seeking a Self-motivated for a rewarding career as an Administrative Specialist to support the Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC).

Work Environment:
Community Services for Children requires all staff members provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination as a condition of employment.
We want to create the safest workplace possible and protect children and families.
This is also necessary in order to comply with President Biden's mandated vaccination guidance for all Head Start/Early Head Start programs.
Candidates who are selected for this position will have to meet the COVID-19 vaccination condition of employment.
Newly hired Community Services for Children staff members will receive a $500 net monetary incentive.
The candidate will receive the $500 payout upon completion of probation.
Community Services for Children is offering a onetime $75 COVID-19 booster vaccination incentive for newly hired staff members who are able to show proof of receiving the COVID-19 booster vaccination.
The payout will be paid upon successful completion of probation.
Job Description:
Support the administrative activities and operation within the Early Learning Resource Centers.
Coordinate communication, information, data systems, and reporting functions across program service areas.
Enter program data and assists in processing Federal, State, and internal reports.
Monitor and assist in sharing of information related to OCDEL requirements, policies, and other quality assurance compliance.
Support the process of creating contracts, scheduling, and other related work.
Facilitate communication and handles logistics for organizing meeting and scheduling events including coordinating room reservations, refreshments, meeting notes, correspondence, and other required duties.
Requirements:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) required High School diploma required.
Associates Degree in Business, Computer Science preferred.
Two years' answering telephones and general office work experience.
Advanced knowledge using Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to be flexible with day-to-day responsibilities as program needs arise.
Valid driver's license and full time use of car.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
