Tom Hesser BMW in Scranton, PA is seeking a highly motivated candidate to fill the position of Service Manager to lead our BMW Service Department.
The ideal candidate will have service department management experience, customer service experience, excellent verbal/written communication skills, and be very well organized.
Prior service management experience is required.
Knowledge of ADP computer system a plus.

Summary:
The Service Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our BMW Service Department.
Duties &
Responsibilities:
Interviewing and hiring employees.
Assesses present and future needs, trends, issues, and profit opportunities of the service department.
Establishes short and long-term goals of the service department.
Ensure Company policies and procedures are followed.
Understand and ensure compliance with manufacturer warranty policy and procedures.
Complete required manufacturer training.
Maintain high-quality service repairs and minimize comebacks.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with employees, managers, and customers.
Maintain excellent customer CSI.
Ensure the repair shop is clean and orderly.
Ensure all shop equipment is maintained to the highest level.
Recommend replacement when necessary.
Maintain a safe work environment by complying with company safety policies.
Open and close repair orders.
Responsible for department past due accounts receivables and collections.
Hire, lead, supervise and train service department employees.
Meet with factory representatives.
Direct and schedule the activities of all department employees.
Address customer concerns in a timely, professional manner.
Hours:
Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5:
00 PM, some Saturday hours required.
