Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Cardiac CSCU Shift:
Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, work E/O holiday and E/O weekend Length:
13 weeks Requirements:
PA License 2 Years' Experience Must have Post Cardiac Surgery Experience Cardiac Medical and Interventional experience including post cardiac cath, post PCI and post ablation, pacemaker and AICD insertion Experience with TIA and Stroke care, syncope, arrhythmia management Experience with:
Cardiac Monitoring equipment, Multiple gtts - Vasoactive as well as antiarrhythmic, Wound/dressing changes Post pacemaker care, Post Cardiac Cath Care - groin/wrist assessment, CVP and PICC line care, Life Vest Skin Care, IV Therapy, Patient Education in all Cardiac Diagnosis BLS ACLS NIHSS EMR Used :
EPIC Others:
Must be willing to float to similar or lower acuity units if needed Epic Travel Staffing:

CVICU Cardiovascular intensive care unit (CVICU) travel nurse jobs provide care to acutely ill patients who are recovery from cardiothoracic (CTICU) conditions or events, such as open heart surgery, AAA repairs and CABC.
A CVICU travel nurse must be capable of administering care on a full spectrum, from clinical tasks such as medical history analysis and diagnostic testing, to personal care such as counseling patients and family regarding home-care and wellness.
Overall, the CVICU nurse treats some of the most acutely ill patients in the hospital, and must do so safely and compassionately.
